UnisonTime uses a deliberately short list of cookies and similar local-storage technologies — all of them strictly necessary or functional. We do not use advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics cookies, so this site does not need a cookie-consent banner under current EU guidance: consent is only required for non-essential cookies, and none of the below fall into that category.
Strictly necessary
- Session cookie (set by our authentication provider, Auth.js, only if you sign in): keeps you signed in. Deleted when you sign out or it expires.
- CSRF token cookie (also set by Auth.js during sign-in): a security cookie that protects the sign-in flow from cross-site request forgery.
Local storage (not a cookie, but similar in purpose)
Your theme, time format, saved teams, planner data, and other preferences are stored in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie — it is never sent to our server unless you sign in and it syncs to your account. You can clear it anytime from your browser’s settings, which will reset the Service to its defaults on that device.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless — it does not set any cookie or use any similar tracking technology, and cannot identify you individually. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies at any time from your browser’s settings (Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies; Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security; Safari: Settings → Privacy; Edge: Settings → Privacy, search, and services). Blocking the session cookie will simply sign you out and stop cloud sync — the Service otherwise keeps working normally without an account.
Changes
We may update this policy if the cookies we use change; we will revise the date above when we do.
